FORBAN A CADO

In Brittany, along most of the coasts, they still use those stange ships with very vivid sails. They also have small houses built of tiny islands. Here the place is CADO.

ATELIER D"ARTISTE

Egypt is a passion. I will publish some previous paintings on that subject later on.
The village of Deir El Medina provides a lot of informations on the way Egyptian artists lived and worked at the time of RAMSES II.
Here I imagined an artist studio with a fresco in the process of being finished.
It could be in the past, it could be right now, what is important is the creativity.
There is the Fulcanelli numbers with a Sun flower to remind us that our civilization has started in Egypt, even so we don't know for sure who the first egyptians were, if they built their civilization alone or if their knowledge, technology and genius came from a previous disapeared civilization

PETIT BRETON

Faith has been a very strong value in Brittany for quite a long time. All the folklore and litterature have been inspired by salvation thru faith and fear of Hell. Churches were full of believers many times a week and not just on Sundays. Here I imagine a young kid wearing his traditional outfit thoughtful in front of a religious banner
It is surprising to see that even the smallest churches or Chapels can afford those exquisite well preserved embroidered banners

DEFENSE DE MARIE

This painting is a construction of two different sources. The banner comes from a small Church in Brittany, but the dragon from Paris , and is part of Saint Michel fountain.
Being French, I have always been exposed to religious art that used to be everywhere in the past. Churches, Fountains, Crosses, Cementaries, everything used to carry even just a small, but always a reminder of faith.
I am afraid the chuch is not doing it's job right, allowing our civilisation to be attacked .
As I often say , I am not especially a fan of  Vatican, but I especially appreciate our christian cultural heritage. We should react and defend our sources.

TREGASTEL

TREGASTEL is a small touristical city by the sea. Its particularity is the smooth rocks emerging from the water here and there, and because those rocks are pink granite, the contrast of colors. The strong reddish tone against the emerald of the blue waters around.

SUSCINO

Brittany is my favorite place when I feel like breaking the habits and need to escape home and duties.
Every time I leave, I prepare an itinerary, and try to escape large cities. What I really like is discover new landscapes, and being able to shoot nice pictures to inspire me for my next paintings.
Here is Suscino, a medieval castel, not too touristical, still nested in surrounding forests.
I imagined a young girl taking her donkey for a ride in the fields
